SOLT Sisters' Spotlight

April 2023

Christ is risen, truly He is risen!  What a gift it is to know and believe in the power and truth of the Resurrection.  Jesus makes all things new, and I hope you are experiencing newfound freedom this Easter season.  Down here in south Texas, we have entered a new phase in the construction of our first ever Motherhouse.  The construction job site office is up and running and dirt is being moved!  Both sure signs that we are on the road towards being able to “dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our lives” (Psalm 27:4).

In this edition of the Spotlight, we asked a few of our Sisters to share with you their favorite aspects of our prayer life.  Prayer is how we come to oneness with the Most Holy Trinity; it is the source of our union with each other, and it strengthens us to live our consecration.  It is our great privilege to pray for you and we are most grateful for your prayers for us!

I invite you to join us in prayer for the successful completion of our Motherhouse campaign.  Would you pray the prayer enclosed with us until the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, Sunday June 4, 2023 and prayerfully consider financially supporting this endeavor? Thanks to your tremendous generosity, we have raised over $4.7M and have $2.8M to go.

Be assured that the Sisters and I will remember each of you in our daily and favorite prayers until we can pray together in the new chapel in the Motherhouse.  May God bless you and reward you a hundredfold!

In Christ,
Sr. Megan Mary Thibodeau, SOLT
