Dear Friends,
In the radiant season of Easter, our hearts are ablaze with a longing for profound healing and communion. As we delve into the timeless teachings of the Catholic Church, we find solace in the sacred truth that the Eucharist is a divine mystery that binds us together as one body in Christ. In the words of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1324), “The Eucharist is ‘the source and summit of the Christian life,’” where we discover the inexhaustible wellspring of spiritual nourishment and the sublime unity of the Church.
Yet, amid life’s myriad distractions and trials, many of us may have inadvertently strayed from this vital font of grace. Nevertheless, in His infinite love and boundless mercy, Jesus Christ extends an invitation to each of us, beckoning us to return to the core of our faith through the sacred celebration of the Eucharist.
The forthcoming National Eucharistic Congress emerges as a beacon of hope and renewal, dedicated to reigniting our reverence and devotion to the sacred mysteries of communion. As SOLT Sisters, we are joyfully immersed in this collective endeavor to fortify the bonds of unity. Through our prayers and dedication to our missions, we strive to embody the very essence of the Church’s foundation—unity and communion.
Together, let us journey toward Our Lord in this renewal. May our collective efforts not only enrich our own spiritual journeys but also lead countless others to experience the living presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. In doing so, may we become radiant beacons of His eternal light in a world too often overshadowed by darkness and division.
In Christ,
Sr. Mary Aloysius Kim, SOLT
