While serving on mission with SOLT, I experienced a radical pure integration of Catholicism, where love, work, prayer, and purpose were deeply intertwined. If I had to choose a 'favorite' or most 'impactful' aspect, it would be witnessing religious life. By living, working, and praying alongside the religious, I believe there is a kind of unveiling - a moment when the human beauty of the Church, composed through her vocations, becomes audible, tangible, and visible. Getting to know and love the religious men and women is a profound ache of the lay heart, a gift that SOLT offers, and something that outside of mission is deeply missed."
